Medical Intense Pulsed Light (MIPL) gives a permanent reduction of unwanted hair by destroying the hair–root so that it cannot re-grow. It is a non-invasive treatment, with results seen in just a few sessions.

The principal of MIPL is very simple; dark colours absorb light and light colours reflect light. The IPL is directed at the hair follicle where the dark pigment in the follicle absorbs the light, while the lighter skin around it reflects the light.
